Paul Tomashevsky

Paul focuses on investor and client relations at Ascension. Paul has spent 15 years working on transportation-related investment banking mandates, with a majority of those in the maritime industry. Throughout his career, Paul worked on over $4 billion of transactions spanning both public and private markets and across products including equity, debt and advisory. Paul is also a Managing Director at RMK, a maritime-focused investment bank and advisory firm. At RMK, Paul focuses on capital markets origination and advisory.

Prior to Ascension and RMK, Paul worked as a Managing Director at MID-SHIP Capital, a maritime focused boutique investment bank where he was responsible for originating and executing a variety of deals. His career began at Bear Stearns where he worked for 2 years as an Associate prior to its merger with J.P. Morgan. Paul spent 6 years in J.P. Morgan's Diversified Industries Group, reaching the title of Executive Director. After J.P. Morgan he joined Clarksons Capital Markets, which later became Clarksons Platou Securities to pursue a dedicated career in maritime finance.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance from Pace University, and a Master of Business Administration from Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
