Ascension Finance is an established lending platform providing senior, first lien debt secured against maritime assets. We are a 10-person team operating out of London, Athens, New York and Indianapolis. With over 150 years cumulative ship finance experience, our team understands both the importance of partnerships in, and the complex of dynamics of, the shipping industry.

Our partners are institutional investors with a long-term investment horizon.

We provide senior secured loans based on market-standard transaction documentation. Focusing on the bespoke needs of our clients, we are able to tailor our products to match specific requirements with regards to vessel type, age, trading strategies and recourse.

Flexible loan terms mean we can add value as part of the capital structure for our clients, whether they are single-ship owners or owners with large fleets.
